Changeover day

Saturday, arrival at 4pm and departure on saturdays at 10am so there is time to clean the house for the next guests. Should another time suit you better this can be discussed so you might be able to use the pool while the house is being cleaned.

Bathrooms: The en-suite has a shower, toilet and sink. The bathroom upstairs has a bath, seperate shower, toilet and double sink and towelrail. The showerroom downstairs has shower, toilet and sink and towelrail. The showerroom in the garage for use by the pool has shower and toilet
Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equiped, it has 2 fridges, 2 freezers, 2 ovens, 5 ring hob, dishwasher, microwave, washingmachine in the garage. All cutlery and crockery present!
For by the pool there are plastic glasses and plates
Utility room: Washingmachine, ping pong table in the garage
Living Rooms: There are 3 sofa's and 2 chairs. Satelite, TV, DVD, Video (films in the cupboard which can be watched), fireplace
Other: In the hallway downstairs there are 2 mattrasses in case childeren which to sleep together so you can move these around the house
Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service: Linen and towels are included as well as 8 swimmingpool towels. Every saturday new linen and towels are given. The property is cleaned on the day of check out. The general cost for laundery and cleaning is approx. 150 euro which is not included in the rental price

Notes on accommodation

The house is very suitable for families including childeren. The pool is fenced off for safety. There is a ping pong table in the garage which you can use.

Wheelchair access

There are 2 steps in the house, therefore the house is suitable for elderly. Wheelchair is possible as the house is tiled all through. A ramp can be arranged. There is 1 double bedroom on the ground floor as well as a showerroom, toilet and sink. To get in the house it is 1 step. You have doors all around the house (all 1 step).

Outside

There is a terrace all around, tables and chairs outside, 8 sunloungers next to the swimmingpool and there is shade. Shade is very necessary as it can get quite hot but as you are on a hill there is also some wind.

Activities

Golf: There are many golf courses dotted around. It is a 40 min drive as you are in the hills. The oldest golf course 36 holes is 45 min drive.

Skiing: You can ski near Turin (1 hour drive) as the olympics were held there. You can combine your holiday do some skiing and enjoy time by the fireplace when you get back

Special interest holidays: The area is great for mountainbiking, cycling, walking, drinking, wine tasting, food, truffels and generally enjoying the unspoiled Italy. No english menu's!

General information

Coast/beach: It is an hour drive to the beach near Genua
Travel: The closest airport is Genua 1.15, Turin 1.30 and Milan Malpensa 1.45, Nice in france 3 hours. It is essential to have a car as you are on a hill and public transport is not always reliable.
Distances: The village (which is your view in the picture) is 2 min drive. There is a bigger place with great restaurants, bar, little shops called Santa Stefano Belbo 6km and there is Canelli 6km which has a large shopping centre and a lidl. Alba is about 20 min drive, full of designer shops, delicatessen and cobbled streets. Aqui Terme has the hot springs and also many shops
